This weekend, thanks to many perfect timings, my boyfriend and I put our already-strong commitment down on paper on a New York rooftop. We’re MARRIED. This piece of paper doesn’t do a lot for us right now, but your democratic vote in November is our best and only chance towards this commitment allowing us to be TOGETHER. Politics aside, thank you to our amazing friends who made it a truly unforgettable few days - our photos taken by the iconic photographer Duane Michals, our rooftop wedding with the Empire State Building as our backdrop, an elevator rescue by the NYFD, brunch with some of my earliest friends, 2 tornadoes, front row seats at madonna’s yankee stadium show. every second was perfect! -finally a big thanks to our friends who weren’t in NYC but who have always shown such consideration and understanding of our situation.
